Seasonal Weight Restrictions 

Curtis Riedy, Highway Commissioner for Outagamie County Highway Department has announced that spring weight limit restrictions will begin Friday, March 6th, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. When the highways become firm, the spring weight limit restrictions will be lifted.

The seasonal weight restriction will be six ton load for a single axle vehicle and ten ton load for a tandem axle vehicle. These spring weight limitations will be enforced pursuant to Section 349.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes.

We request all parties involved to abide by these limits in order to protect and preserve the structural capacities of the County Highway System.
