Eisenhower Trail Project
The Town of Buchanan applied for and was successful in receiving a Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to install an 8-10 foot wide paved multi-use path along the west side of Eisenhower Dr. between CTH KK and Theater Way with curb and gutter on the west side of Eisenhower along with storm sewer. The original estimated construction cost is $804,551 with $643,640.80 (80%) funded by the grant with the Town funding the remaining $160,910.20 (20%). The Town is responsible for 100% of engineering design, State DOT review and right-of-way acquisition and any construction costs over $643,640.80. Construction is planned for 2026.
