Fundraising Begins for Final Phase of Springfield Park Upgrades

Springfield Park has undergone significant upgrades since 2023, and we need your help to finish the job. Government investment funded the first two phases of construction, but phase three will be privately funded.

• Phase 1 in 2023: Old playground removal and new drain tile for improved park‑wide drainage.
• Phase 2 in 2024: New accessible playground, new tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, and a paved trail connecting the parking area to the playground and Cara Way.

Phase 3
A community fundraising campaign for Phase 3 of improvements is underway, led by the Parks Committee. Donations totaling $100,000 are needed this year to plan for completion of park improvements which include a shelter, solar panel lights, a sandbox, gaga ball pit, and other landscape improvements.
