Comprehensive Rezoning 2025

In 2018 the Town of Buchanan updated its Comprehensive Plan. In 2022 it initiated a complete rewrite of its Zoning Ordinance, based on recommendations in the Comprehensive Plan, with its completion in spring of 2024. The next step in this process is to rezone parcels based on the new code as well as to create consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and its Future Land Use Plan by eliminating conflicting land uses and zoning classifications.
