Building permit applications can be obtained at the Town Hall. The cost for a general permit can vary depending on the size of the building/remodeling project.
Permits are required for the following projects (this list is not all inclusive):
- Houses, duplexes and apartments
- Garages
- Fences
- Decks
- Sheds
- Barns and silos
- Roofing, siding and windows
- Interior remodeling
- Electrical, plumbing and HVAC upgrades
- Commercial buildings and signs
- Demolition/razing a building
- Gas and pellet stoves
