Town Board

Town Board meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall. (Occassionally these meetings can be rescheduled, so please be sure to check our monthly agenda postings for proper dates and times)

These meetings are open to the public and we encourage you to attend and become involved with the decisions made by your Town Board. The agendas for these meetings are posted at the Darboy Sanitary District; Citizens Bank Darboy; the Town Hall and on the town's website. Town Board Strategic Planning, 2010

On June 30, 2010 the Buchanan Town Board completed a strategic planning/prioritizing meeting. Board members reviewed a list of current Town issues, projects and tasks and then also added new items. Some of the strategic items were obtained from existing Town planning documents or studies (Comprehensive Plan, Open Space and Recreation Facilities Plan, 2009 Human Resources and Organizational Study, etc.). After a final list was created each Board member then ranked items on a scale of 1-10. The provided 2010 Strategic Planning List was created and identifies priorities from most to least important. Town officials and staff will be using this information in the coming year as a guide to achieving Town priorities and goals.
